3 Legged Thing Reservoir Mods – RSV1 | 5-Chamber | 1/2″ UNF
£60.00
The Reservoir Mod is a compact, precision-engineered airgun moderator built around a single, uncompromising principle — intelligent air management rather than brute volume. Designed and manufactured by 3 Legged Thing, these moderators use a carefully tuned 5-chamber system with precision-cut wool/polyester gasket discs to strip excess pressure, manage airflow, and deliver a genuinely quieter, cleaner report without upsetting accuracy or point of impact.
At just 14.5cm (5.7″) in length and 36mm (1.4″) in diameter, the Reservoir Mod is one of the most compact and well-balanced moderators available for airgun use — keeping your setup light, handy, and proportionate without sacrificing suppression performance. The modest 59ml internal volume belies its effectiveness, because performance here comes from precision engineering, not size.
The compressed wool/polyester gasket discs deserve particular mention. Specified at 277 kg/m³ — nearly four times the density of high-performance acoustic panels — these are not filler material. They are one of the most deliberately engineered components in the system, and a significant reason why the Reservoir Mod performs so consistently across shot after shot.
Two profile styles are available — same performance, different personality:
The RSV1 Wavy Profile features a flowing, organic exterior with subtle contouring for a softer, more natural visual aesthetic. The RSV2 Chamfered Profile offers a sharper, faceted design with a bold technical appearance. Both are mechanically identical inside — profile choice is entirely personal.
Available with either 1/2″ UNF, the Reservoir Mod fits the vast majority of UK air rifles straight from the box. Multiple finishes are available to suit different rifle aesthetics.
Quiet. Controlled. Precise. This is what a moderator should be.
