Franchi Horizon Black Synthetic Bolt-Action Rifle – .223 Remington | 22″ Barrel
£599.00
Clean lines, Italian engineering, and genuine field-proven performance — the Franchi Horizon Black Synt is the flagship model in Franchi’s acclaimed Horizon family of bolt-action hunting rifles, and it sets the benchmark from the moment you pick it up. Chambered here in .223 Remington with a 22″ cold rotohammer-forged chromium molybdenum steel barrel, this is a precision hunting rifle built to perform shot after shot, in any condition, without compromise.
Every Franchi Horizon Black Synt leaves the factory with a certified 1 MOA accuracy guarantee out of three shots fired — a bold and meaningful commitment that speaks directly to the quality of the barrel manufacturing and the consistency of the action. For UK deer managers, pest controllers, and target shooters demanding repeatable precision at range, this guarantee is a significant differentiator.
At the core of the Horizon’s reliability is the Dependa Bolt three-fin locking system, which delivers a smooth, positive 60° bolt throw — a notably shorter lift than many competing designs. The streamlined conical bolt handle allows rapid cycling even with large-diameter scope tubes in place, while the fluted bolt body reduces friction and ensures smooth, dependable operation even in freezing or icy conditions — a genuine practical advantage for UK winter hunting.
The Relia Trigger system is adjustable between 0.8 and 1.9 kg via a simple adjustment screw, allowing each shooter to dial in the precise break weight that suits their shooting style and discipline. Light, sensitive, and consistent, this trigger group is one of the standout features of the Horizon platform and contributes meaningfully to its sub-MOA performance capability.
Feeding is handled by a detachable 3-round magazine — compliant with UK firearms legislation — making safe loading, unloading, and magazine changes fast and straightforward in the field. The synthetic black stock is purpose-designed for hunting use, with pre-set profiles on both the stock and forearm for sling attachment (supplied) and bipod mounting — no aftermarket modification required. Lightweight and perfectly balanced, the Horizon Black Synt shoulders quickly and naturally, whether you are moving through woodland or settling into a high seat.
Refined, purposeful, and built to Franchi’s exacting Italian standards — the Horizon Black Synt is a serious hunting rifle that delivers at every level.
