Hawke Prism Sight 1×15

£249.00

The Hawke Prism Sight 1×15 Speed Dot is a high-quality, compact optical sight designed to offer the benefits of both a red dot and a traditional magnified optic, particularly advantageous for AR-pattern rifles and hunting applications. Unlike a standard red dot that projects a reticle, a prism sight uses an etched glass reticle within the optic itself.

Description
  • 1x Magnification: Provides a true 1:1 view, allowing for fast target acquisition with both eyes open, similar to a red dot sight.
  • Speed Dot Reticle: Features a unique reticle design with a central 3 MOA dot for precision aiming and a surrounding horseshoe for rapid target acquisition.
  • Etched Glass Reticle: The reticle is physically etched into the glass. This is a significant advantage as it means the reticle remains visible even if the battery dies, ensuring continuous functionality. It also often appears sharper to shooters with astigmatism, who may experience starbursting or blurring with traditional projected red dots.
  • Illumination: The reticle glows red when illuminated, with 10 stages of digital brightness control (typically 8 for day and 2 for night vision compatibility).
  • 15mm Objective Lens: A compact objective lens size.
  • Parallax Free: Parallax error is fixed at 100 yards (91 meters), with error-free performance from 10 yards (9 meters).
  • Dual Mount System Included: Comes with both a low-profile mount and a lower 1/3 Co-Witness mount for Weaver/Picatinny rails, offering versatile mounting options, especially for AR platforms.
  • High-Quality Aluminum Construction: Durable and robust, designed to withstand recoil and harsh conditions.
  • Weatherproof: Nitrogen purged, making it shockproof, waterproof, and fog-proof.
  • 25-Layer Multi-Coated Optics: Lenses are fully multi-coated for maximum light transmission, clarity, and image contrast.
  • Auto Shut Off and Shake Awake: Features a motion sensor that automatically turns illumination off when stationary to conserve battery, and instantly on when movement is detected.
  • 1 MOA Click Adjustments: Precise windage and elevation adjustments for accurate zeroing.
  • Generous Eye Relief: Offers approximately 3.9 inches (98mm) of eye relief, providing a comfortable sight picture.
  • Compact and Lightweight: The sight itself is quite compact, with total lengths around 75mm and weights starting from 207g (without mounts).
