Winchester XPR Varmint Adjustable Threaded Bolt-Action Rifle – .223 Remington | 21″ Barrel
£630.00
The Winchester XPR Varmint Adjustable Threaded is a purpose-built varminting rifle that delivers the accuracy, discretion, and fast handling that demanding pest control and long-range varmint work requires. Chambered in .223 Remington with a 21″ semi-heavy profile steel barrel and M14x1 threaded muzzle, this rifle arrives at Countryway Gunshop suppressor-ready and configured for serious fieldwork from day one.
The M14x1 threaded barrel accepts a wide range of UK-legal moderators straight from the box — essential for farmland pest control and noise-sensitive shooting environments. The semi-heavy barrel profile provides the additional rigidity and heat dissipation that sustained varmint sessions demand, without tipping the overall weight into unwieldy territory. The rifle’s 107cm overall length keeps handling compact and natural in the field.
At the heart of the XPR’s accuracy credentials is Winchester’s M.O.A. Trigger System — a precision three-lever design delivering zero take-up, zero creep, and zero overtravel for a consistently clean, crisp break that directly translates into tighter groups at range. The Permacote-finished steel receiver is engraved with the Winchester name and XPR logo, combining durability with understated aesthetics suited to low-profile varmint work.
The Kalix adjustable comb composite stock allows precise eye-to-scope alignment regardless of optic height — a practical advantage when running larger objective lenses or high-mounted night vision equipment. The ambidextrous pistol grip stock in black composite suits both right and left-handed shooters, and the Inflex I recoil pad keeps follow-up shots comfortable during extended sessions. Sling swivel studs front and rear are included as standard.
The oversized bolt handle allows rapid recocking between shots without breaking cheek weld, and the 5+1 drop box magazine feeds reliably and detaches cleanly for fast reloads. The two-position safety with bolt unlock button lets you load and unload safely without disengaging the safety — a well-considered feature for field carry between shots.
Fast. Accurate. Suppressor-ready. Built for the job.
